Hello! My name is Ankit Mishra. I work as a UX/UI Designer at Achieveee Design & Development studio based in Mumbai, apart from that I like to take solo trips & explore places.

This is where I share my travel experiences & stories. I want to travel and seek experiences & open my mind to new possibilities.

M. G Road, Bangalore

Travel is the only thing you buy, that makes you richer.

Practically everyone likes to travel, whether by train, car, bike or anything they’d like to. Everyone gets excited to see new environments and people, try new things, and be surrounded by the fresh and inspiring atmosphere.

Same thing happened to me!
The thought came earlier in college days to take a solo trip to India, But couldn’t happen due to multiple reasons.

A couple of months before this amazing journey, I am little afraid & excited at the same time. Most Importantly, I’ve to figure out that now I have to quit my job for this trip or can I ask for big vacation break?

Happy to say, I didn’t have to quit my job, I got official permission for this trip!

Vrindavan

Places I discover during my trip

Mcleodganj — Tibet musuem

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh)
Manali (Himachal Pradesh)
Amirtsar (Punjab)
Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh)
Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh)
McLeodganj (Himachal Pradesh)
New Delhi
Haridwar (Uttarakhand)
Rishikesh (Uttarakhand)
Old Delhi
Mathura (UttarPradesh)
Vrindava (UttarPradesh)
Agra (UttarPradesh)
Lucknow (UttarPradesh)
Varanasi (UttarPradesh)
Howrah (Kolkatta)
Bangalore (Karnataka)
Coorg (Karnataka)

Things I’ve learned during the whole journey!

Apart from scenic beauty & fresh atmosphere traveling also can help & teach you to become a better version of yourself as a person.

To be clear, traveling doesn’t directly help you, it will indirectly improve your habits by improving yourself.

When people become better, happier, more excited, life becomes better as well. It’s like a fuel and traveling constantly refuels you.

Travel lifestyle brings too much uncertainty because sometimes travel throws you into very bad experiences.

Rishikesh

While traveling for a long time will put you into a different emotional state at the same time, gradually learn to control them.

Money plays a big role in traveling, when you don’t have much money to spend, the very moment you start learning your daily expenses, where and when to spend money becomes most important part of your daily schedule.

Very importantly, eating habits will always decide your routine, so it’s important to take meals on proper time will keep you away from being unhealthy.

During my travels, I’ve seen people who are taking tremendous efforts while working for food to feed their family. It makes you more serious at your workspace.

Once you’re used to travel routine, you become a little disciplined, which helps to become a much responsible person.

Mallick Ghat Flower Market

Slowly trust factor will start increasing in you, & make you more open to the possibilities & makes you more humble as a person.

Ability to take risks gradually starts to increase in you & you feel less fearless before things happen to you.

Best way to manage your time, you can plan things when you are on the way, that can make better to save your time to know about the places.

Sometimes finding a reasonable accommodation is a challenge, but you will learn to figure out that too as well.

Solo travel boost your confidence in decision-making process, which will help in your day-to-day life.

Jama Masjid Road

Somewhat in conclusion

If you’re thinking about taking a solo trip then stop worrying — Decide your trip & pack your backpack, otherwise you’ll start missing a lot is time.

Being a solo travel is a little difficult sometimes, but what’s not difficult in today’s time?

“Take risks in your life, if you win you can lead. If you loose you can guide”

Hope someone like me will help this!
Thanks for reading! :)
